Project Description

To provide pointers around crafting effective data collection statements, we commissioned independent research into this area. Its aim was to gauge consumer reactions to a range of third party data collection statements and the impact of different editorial styles.

The key finding was a friendly, informative opt-out data collection statement was the most effective in positively impacting people’s willingness to allow their data to be shared with third parties.
